You people did well today! :) I feel quite bad like standing one side watching you guys work so hard haha. Yupp anyway i took a vid while yall were playing the medley (Penguins on parade, drum solo, somerset march). Even though the somerset sounded quite...well, weird but it's okkk i think it still sounded nice.
Ok it finally uploaded haha. So remember to bring your full marching uniform!! :) Seeya in band room by 3pm. ;)

Heyyy band. :)
Once again reminding you that THIS friday is the full-dress rehersal (sorry for my slip-up in band haha) So the marching band uniform can be found in previous posts. :) REMEMBER TO RBING YOUR HIGH SOCKS AND BOOTS TOO.
Oh and the band room will be opened tmrw from 2-5pm. All sections are encouraged to come so that yall can do last minute memorising and stuffs. :)
And those sections still without scores, PLEASE TELL GRACE/JOAN ASAP OR........i don't know what will happen. But yeah.

HI BAND. :) Reminders and some short announcements. :)
1) Next band prac: Tuesday, 27 July. 2.30pm-5.30pm It's e-learning day but please still come! You are allowed to wear any band attire (band shirt + skirt/pinafore) or just school uniform. School socks and shoes too!
2) Those that haven't paid band fund, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee pass it to Karlyn by Tuesday.
3) There will be a full-dress rehersal this coming Friday, 30 July. So sec2-3s, remember to bring your marching attire. (Beret, blouse, vest, skirt, fan, high socks, boots, ribbon) You can bring on tuesday or whatever and leave it in the band room. :) For sec 1s, just wear school uniform haha. (you would already be)
4) Everyone please help keep a lookout/recall if you've seen Ling's money cos it's really really really important to her!
Hmm it's just less than 2 weeks to NDP. Let's just work really hard now and show the school BANDROCKS. Thanks for the hard work yesterday too! :)

1) There's a 'World Youth Orchestra of the Singapore Games' band concert coming up on the 15th August, Sunday. Below are the details:

Formed by the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (National University of Singapore) in association with a range of performers including the Singapore National Youth Orchestra, Malaysia Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Peabody Institute (USA) and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (UK), the orchestra performs an exciting programme of music pieces reflecting the inspirational and richly affirmative spirit of the games. To those of you who are wondering about the attire for Thursday, it is school uniform.
Please remember to get this stuffs done: 1) Get your item and performance ready 2) Get your gifts for the sec 4 3) Bring all your MCs/Letters and pass them to Chanel 4) Give your band fund of $2 to Samantha
