Hi everyone~~
CCA Fair is this Saturday (090110). Please be in the band room by 8AM and attire is PL Lite shirt with band skirt and Shrek / green hairband (if you have) hehehehe so exciting~ Oh it will end at 1130AM.
Okay now for the list of new rules....
Rules regarding attendance-taking :
- All band members are to be in the band room about 15 minutes before band practice starts with instrument set up
- Doors will be locked at the start of attendance-taking (no one is to enter or exit)
- All who are in the band room but have not set up their instruments will stand during attendance-taking
- Those locked out will report to Deanna after band practice
- If band members have lessons that end late, they must inform their Section leaders or the 5 heads (Adear, Deanna, Esther, Izabella, Cristy). They are expected to be in the band room half an hour after the end of their lesson
- Band members who talk during attendance-taking will stand
Other rules :
- Band members are not allowed to let other band members hold / play their instruments to enforce a sense of ownership and responsibility
- Shoes should be arranged in a neat row outside the band room or in the shoe racks
- Band members must inform their section leaders whenever they need to leave sectionals or band practice
- All school rules apply during band practice
- When anyone is speaking on the podium, band members should not be packing their bags or keeping their instruments out of respect for the leader or teacher
Punishment :
Late coming (with no valid reason) - 2 rounds and 20 sit-ups
Skipping band practices with no valid reason - 3 rounds and 30 sit-ups per practice skipped
Breaking of shool rules - 3 rounds and 30 sit-ups
Dropping of instrument - 3 rounds and 30 sit-ups
Dropping of reed / mouthpiece - 2 rounds and 20 sit-ups
Letting people from other sections touch your instrument - 1 round and 10 sit-ups but if instrument is played, 3 rounds and 30 sit-ups. Applies to both the owner of the instrument and the person who touched it. If the person is not a band member, the band member's punishment is doubled.
Skipping section duty - Band member will have to clean the band room for one week (2 practices) with the section on duty.
